Furry friends at a past Furst Tuesday.

The Sexual and Relationship Violence Center invites the campus community to the final Furst Tuesday of the fall 2023 semester. In partnership with Love on a Leash, therapy dogs will again be at the SRVC for the first Tuesday of the month. This is the final Furst Tuesday of this year, but due to its popularity, the SRVC and Love on a Leash will resume first Tuesdays starting in February for the spring 2024 semester.

"We are overjoyed with the popularity of this monthly outreach event," stated Dr. Wyandt-Hiebert, director of SRVC. "Witnessing the joy and comfort the therapy dogs bring to so many students each month has been an incredible experience for all."

In celebration of the many holidays of the season, a hot cocoa bar will be set up alongside Furst Tuesday. Peppermint and chocolate spoons, along with a variety of toppings for hot cocoa will be available. Furst Tuesday will be held outside of the SRVC located at the Garland Avenue Shops and Office Suites adjacent to the Garland Avenue Garage. The event takes place from 6 to 7 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the event will move inside to the SRVC classroom. Questions may be directed to 479-575-4000.
