The second shipment delivering HVAC equipment to the site of the future I³R facility is scheduled to take place Monday, Dec. 18. The oversized shipment will require a police escort, and the southbound side of Arkansas Avenue will be blocked off to clear a path for the trucks.

The metered spaces on Arkansas Avenue closest to Old Main will be closed and barricaded as part of the delivery's route. Please seek alternative parking on Monday, if you typically utilize those parking spaces.

Traffic southbound on Arkansas Avenue is expected to be impacted Monday to allow for the trucks to navigate their planned route around campus. Those who usually use Maple Street, Arkansas Avenue or Dickson Street should consider an alternative route to avoid slowdowns.

In addition to the delivery, the City of Fayetteville is set to begin construction that will close northbound traffic on Arkansas Avenue that will last until Jan. 2. The northbound lanes of Arkansas Avenue are set to close Dec. 18.
