Arkansas Alumni Association Invites Nominations for Alumni Awards
The Arkansas Alumni Association seeks nominations for the alumni awards to be presented at the 79th Alumni Awards Celebration in fall 2024. The Alumni Awards Program honors outstanding U of A alumni who continue to bring national and local prominence to the U of A and the Arkansas Alumni Association through their research, exemplary public and community service, and valued leadership.
Nominations are accepted in four categories:
- Citation of Distinguished Alumni
- Andrew J. Lucas Alumni Service Award
- Community Service Award
- Young Alumni Award
Additionally, the association seeks nominations for the Honorary Alumni Award for non-alumni.
More information regarding the Alumni Awards Program is available on the Alumni Awards webpage, including the nomination form. Nominations are accepted year-round. To be eligible for fall 2024 awards, nominations must be received by Thursday, Feb. 15. Nominations received after this date will be considered for the 2025 awards.
Awards selection will be made by the Awards Committee of the Arkansas Alumni National Board of Directors each year. Nominations are kept in a pool for a minimum of three years. Recipients are honored at the association’s Alumni Awards Celebration event during Homecoming week. Award recipients must be present.
