"We should be dancing!" The Movement Dance Company is living out this mission statement every week as they provide free, open-level dance classes for the university community. 

Join the Movement from 6:15-7 p.m. Tuesday evenings as company members teach beginner-friendly routines in a variety of dance styles for anyone to try!

Always wanted to dance but never got to take classes? Looking for a fun way to get some exercise and meet new people? The Movement Experience is the perfect opportunity to try something new in a casual and supportive setting where the goal is fun and community. 

When? Every Tuesday from 6:15-7 p.m.

Where? University Recreation's HPER Building 216 

What should I bring? Clothes you can move in, some water, and a friend!

The Movement's mission is to bring dance to the masses, cultivating a culture where dance is prominent in the U of A community. The student-led group's strategy is twofold: providing opportunities for dancers of various abilities to grow and perform at a collegiate level, and educating the local community to foster understanding and appreciation of dance as an artform.
