What’s up Razorbacks!

It’s your student body president, Cael Losenegger. I wanted to take the time to share with you about an upcoming event that is near and dear to our hearts. This week, our Associated Student Government is partnering with the Volunteer Action Center and the American Red Cross to host the U of A’s 2nd Annual Winter Tip-Off Blood Drive, joining SEC schools around the nation in addressing the national blood shortage.

As we come together as a community to do our part in serving others, I encourage you to join us by rolling up your sleeve and bleeding Razorback Red. Your donation can save lives and make a positive difference for those in need. We know that donating blood can be challenging and are working hard to make this a worthwhile experience for you. All donors will receive a $20 Amazon e-gift card, a custom-made Razorback T-shirt, free Chick-Fil-A and Eureka Pizza, and gift cards to your favorite food locations. Lastly, all donors will receive two or more service hours that can be put towards Work-It-Off parking tickets!

Everyone (undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff) is welcome to donate! Use the link below to sign up for a time slot that works for you and make sure to eat a healthy meal, stay hydrated and bring a valid ID on the day of the event. Lastly, blood donation is best when done with a friend, so encourage a friend to join you in donating! The more participants we have, the greater impact we can make!

Go Hogs and Wooo Pig,
