Join GradSWE on Monday, Feb 12, for the first general body meeting of the semester.

As part of our commitment to supporting graduate students in their academic endeavors, we are thrilled to announce the GradSWE General Body Meeting No. 1: "Fall in Love with Your Thesis," a special session on "Tips and Advice for Working on Your Thesis and Self-Advocacy in Graduate School." The session will take place at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, in Bell Engineering 2286.

Featuring esteemed guest speaker Melody Herr, this session aims to provide valuable insights and guidance for graduate students navigating the challenges of thesis writing and self-advocacy. Herr will share expert tips on effective writing strategies and techniques, drawing from her extensive experience in academia.

Following Herr's presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an engaging discussion session, where they can ask questions, share experiences and learn from their peers.

Whether you are currently working on a thesis or considering embarking on this academic journey, General Body Meeting No. 1 promises to offer invaluable support, direction and resources to help you fall in love with your thesis.

All graduate students are encouraged to attend and are welcome to invite friends who may benefit from this session. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow students, gain valuable insights and enhance your academic journey.
