TODAY: Explore Civic Education Opportunities at Exciting Drop-In Event

Aspiring College Bowl participants and individuals passionate about civic education are invited to a special drop-in event to learn more about the College Bowl and Democracy Fellows program. Hosted by the Center for Community Engagement, this event aims to provide valuable information and foster a community of engaged individuals dedicated to civic education.

What to Expect:

  1. College Bowl information session: Learn about the exciting College Bowl, an interactitve event where students from different universities are paired and virtually discuss issues that have become important topics for debate in our country in an effort to practice strategies for civil discourse.   2. Democracy Fellows Program overview: Explore the Democracy Fellows program, designed to empower students with the skills and knowledge needed to actively participate in democracy. 

How to participate: This event is open to all U of A students interested in expanding their horizons through civic education.
