U of A Faculty Members to Lead Arkansas Chapter of NATS

The Arkansas Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) proudly announces the appointment of its new cohort of officers, with two esteemed faculty members from the U of A taking the helm. Lenora Green-Turner and Lauren Clare, both distinguished educators in the field of vocal performance, will serve the chapter for the next two to four years, bringing their expertise and passion to further the mission of NATS in Fayetteville and across Arkansas.

As of Feb. 25, 2024, the appointed positions for the Arkansas Chapter of NATS are as follows:

Vice President/President-Elect: Lenora Green-Turner

Secretary: Angela Collier

Treasurer: Leann Jones

Green-Turner and Clare, both esteemed faculty members in the Department of Music at the U of A, bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their roles within NATS. Their dedication to vocal education and commitment to excellence will undoubtedly enhance the chapter's efforts to promote the highest standards in the teaching of singing within the Fayetteville community and across the state.

"Their contributions to vocal education at the University of Arkansas and their passion for nurturing vocal talent will greatly benefit our chapter and the vocal community at large."

The Arkansas Chapter of NATS is dedicated to providing resources, professional development opportunities and a supportive community for singing teachers and vocal performers throughout the state. With the appointment of this new leadership team, the chapter is poised to continue its legacy of excellence and service to the vocal arts community in Fayetteville and beyond.
