'Global Futures With World Languages, Literatures & Cultures' at Multicultural Center Tuesday

The WLLC Student Success Committee is hosting "Global Futures With World Languages, Literatures & Cultures" from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the Multicultural Center in the Arkansas Union (ARKU 403). This event will feature games, a roundtable with undergraduates about Global Student Success, and lunch will be provided. There will also be a raffle and prizes available. 

Faculty, TAs and undergraduate students from the Department of World Languages, Literatures and Cultures will be stationed at a table representing each language offered in the department to speak with visitors about WLLC cultural offerings, curriculum, career opportunities and more about what the department has to offer.

The event will be divided into two blocks, with the roundtable in the middle, as follows:   

  • flyer for Global Futures eventNoon to 12:40 p.m.: Passport game / Language section tables

  • 12:45-1 p.m.: Roundtable about global student success with WLLC undergraduate students

  • 1-1:30 p.m.: Passport game / Language section tables

This event is free and open to all U of A undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and the broader U of A community.
