Game Developers to Demonstrate AI-Driven Storytelling; Studio Researchers to Talk Podcasting
The World Languages & Digital Humanities Studio in the World Languages, Literatures & Cultures Department is excited to announce a double-header for its next Digital Humanities Meet-Up, which will be held in the WLDH Studio, J.B. Hunt 207, on Thursday, March 14.
The double event will be from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, March 14, and it will feature a live demonstration of the Living Story Engine, an AI-driven storytelling GPT by local indie game developers Joe Payne and Stephanie Essin of Unlimited.
Following the Living Story Engine Live Demo, the DH Meet-Up "Podcasting and the VR Classroom" will take place from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at the studio (JBHT 207).
"Podcasting and the VR Classroom" will include talks from Manuel Olmedo Gobante, professor of Spanish; Michael Hall, WLDH studio researcher; and Larissa Rocha, WLDH studio researcher.
