University Recreation to Offer a Free Week of Membership to Faculty and Staff

University Recreation invites current U of A faculty and staff to check out what UREC has to offer during the week of Spring Break! A free one-week facility pass will be awarded to those interested in checking out the HPER Building. To redeem your free one-week pass, please complete this online Qualtrics form. Passes can be used Monday to Sunday, March 18-24.

Additionally pro-rated membership prices for the remainder of the spring semester went into effect Monday, March 11. To redeem, visit the UREC Main Office, call us at 479-575-4646 or email us at urec@uark.edu. Visit the UREC Facility Hours page for UREC Main Office hours. 

The main facility for the department of University Recreation is the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) building (located at 155 N. Stadium Dr.). Highlights include the Donna Axum Fitness Center, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, four basketball courts, an indoor track, group fitness studios, functional training areas, cycle studio, racquetball courts, bouldering and climbing walls, UREC Outdoors, and locker and shower facilities.  

The department of University Recreation is a major campus-wide service unit in the Division of Student Affairs. The mission of University Recreation is to empower students for success through recreation and wellness.
