Spring Break Network Maintenance

In an effort to decrease disruptions for the campus community, IT Services will perform network maintenance during the week of spring break, March 18-24.

There are not expected to be any prolonged outages or system downtimes, but there may be brief interruptions as IT staff perform updates and other necessary maintenance to ensure systems and applications are up to date.

Additionally, UAConnect, university websites, departmental file shares, Data Warehouse, Perceptive Content, VMware Remote Lab and any hosted research systems will be briefly affected by maintenance on Thursday, March 21, from 1 to 1:15 p.m. These services are only expected to be unavailable for up to five minutes during this time. Cloud-based systems like Office 365, Workday, Blackboard, Azure Virtual Remote Lab and Box.com will not be affected.

Scheduled maintenance can be viewed on the IT Status Monitor, as well as any outage notifications and updates. If application issues arise or there is a prolonged period of slowness/downtime, please submit a ticket through the IT Help Portal.
