Dean Brent Williams presents Connie Robbins with Walton College's Employee of the Second Quarter Award.

Connie Robbins, associate director of accounting for the Sam M. Walton College of Business, has been named Walton College's employee of the second quarter for the 2023-24 academic year.

Robbins brings irreplaceable value to Walton College's Accounting Center through managing and coordinating staff procurement and travel. Her eye for detail makes her supervisors' jobs of reporting Walton College's finances to the U of A that much more seamless.

Along with Robbins, some other talented Walton College staff were nominated: John Bell, director of analytics and insights; Madison Steueve, internship coordinator; Sumar Decrescenzo, administrative specialist III for information systems (ISYS); Linda Ward, administrative support specialist for the Department of Management; and Cari Denson-Gates, administrative support specialist for the Department of Accounting.

Anyone in Walton College may nominate colleagues for this award who show superior customer service and excel in their position.

As the winner, Robbins receives a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize. Winners are chosen by Walton College Dean Brent Williams, associate deans and the Walton College Events Committee.
