Help Our Food Pantry Win the SEC Food Fight Competition
This exciting food drive competition involves our college and other universities across the Southeastern Conference, all uniting for one cause. From April 5-18, we have the opportunity to make a significant impact by donating individually wrapped items and monetary contributions. Every item and dollar will contribute toward our collective effort to support the Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry, with each donation counting as one point towards our university total. Let's come together as a community to support this cause and win the food fight!
Here are a few ways you and your organization can contribute:
The Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry is a resource available to all U of A students, faculty and affiliates. It is located at 324 Stadium Dr., Fayetteville. The hours are Monday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday 3-6 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. To stay updated, follow the pantry instagram at @fullcircle_foodpantry or visit the website located under "Related Links."
The Volunteer Action Center is a student-led organization that connects students at the U of A to service opportunities on and off campus. The VAC seeks to foster a positive relationship between students at the U of A and the Northwest Arkansas community through its six signature programs: Be B.O.L.D., Dream B.I.G., the Jane B. Gearhart Food Circle Food Pantry, Passionate About Literacy, Razorback Food Recovery and Student Engagement. Learn more by visiting our website or @uavac on Instagram.
