Bubble Magic at Math and Science Center

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — What do carousels, volcanoes, and a break-dancing caterpillar made of soap bubbles have to do with math and science? Tom Noddy, the Bubble Guy, makes good, clean and, yes, educational fun with his show, Bubble Magic, touring Arkansas this May and June. Pre-registration for the daytime shows is required.

Bubble Magic has been seen on television shows all over the world - including The Late Show with David Letterman on Feb. 27. Noddy has, literally, blown audiences away with his bubbles at universities, physics and mathematics conferences, science and discovery centers, nightclubs, corporate events, and other entertainment and education venues.

Engaging children in science and math can be a challenge, but Bubble Magic makes many of these concepts - from angles and shapes to nature and physics - fun not only for children but for adults as well.

In addition to the show, the “Bubble Lab” will be available before and after the daytime shows for hands-on bubble experiences. Registration for these labs is also required of the groups attending the Bubble shows.

• June 21, 22 and 23 - Discovery Place Children’s Museum, Texarkana Museums System in Texarkana

• June 28, 29 and 30 - Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources in Smackover

Monday, May 21, through Wednesday, May 23: UA Arkansas Union Ballroom

GROUPS: Bubble Magic shows (for groups that have registered in advance) will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m. Bubble Labs will occur 30 minutes before and after each daytime Bubble Magic show. The shows and hands-on sessions are free of charge, but registration is required for both.

PUBLIC: Bubble Magic will be presented at 7:00pm. No registration or tickets required.
