Divison Of Continuing Education, UATV, To Broadcast Thursday’s Board Of Trustees Meeting On Stadium Issues

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. --- Thursday’s special meeting of the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees on the stadium issue will be broadcast as a public service by the University’s Division of Continuing Education beginning at 10 a.m. (Jan. 20).

Persons wishing to view the broadcast may do so by going to the Center for Continuing Education, 2 East Center St., just south of the Hilton Hotel off the Fayetteville Square. The big screen will be in Room 204, a 350-seat auditorium. Other rooms will be made available for viewing as turnout demands.

In addition, UATV, the University’s student-operated television station, will carry the meeting on cable Channel 2 in Fayetteville and Channel 14 in Springdale.

The special meeting will feature:

A report from Chuck Neinas of Neinas Sports, a consultant.
A presentation about the proposed expansion of War Memorial Stadium;
A presentation about the expansion of Razorback Stadium, with remarks from UA Chancellor John White and Men’s Intercollegiate Athletic Director Frank Broyles.
Expected to last for several hours, the meeting is for informational purposes only; the Board will take no action.

The meeting will take place at the Little Rock Hilton Inn, 925 South University Avenue, Little Rock.
